  5. Your light will always Shine bright.

You were one of my favorite attorneys while working at the Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore, Maryland.

As your legal secretary you were humble, gracious, and committed.

I remember the late hours you worked, I would stay and work with you.

I recall the scriptures from the bible you would post around your computer monitor.

I would give you a lift home many days and we would laugh the entire ride. Yes You was LIGHT.

Rest in the presence of our Loving God.

  13. Charlene, thank you for helping me secure a law clerk position with an amazing law firm while we were law students. It was one of the best opportunities in my legal career. And the only law firm that I have ever worked for. I am glad that we reconnected in the last couple of years. And I was able to refer clients to you for estate planning services. I will always remember you for having a kind, calm spirit. It was both a joy and a privilege to know you. Your loved ones are in my prayers, especially your children. 🙏🏾 Get your rest, beautiful. 🕊️💔 Love, Sophia

  24. To the family,
I cannot imagine the pain of losing your child, sister and mother of those sweet babies. I only had the pleasure of being in her presence a few times but in each instance, Charene was always pleasant, respectful and showed the love she had for her family. In my heart I grieve for and with you. If I can help you through this please let me know.

  27. I thought of you about 2 weeks ago early one morning as I woke up, you were heavily in my spirit for some reason.
I thought to myself, I haven’t seen her for quite a while, praying that all was well with you and your family!! Then the following week, I heard of your passing!!
You had a gentle spirit and quiet strength about you and the love for your children was very obvious!!
Your presence will be sorely missed because I know you hadn’t even scratched the surface of what you had to share with our church family at Greater Goodwill!!

You were so excited about the Women’s Bible Study Group you initiated and I feel very strongly that it would’ve soared!!

May the God of peace that surpasses all of our understanding be with your family and especially your beautiful babies!!

Rest well in the safe arms of Jesus Christ!! We’ll see you again!!
