  3. Condolences extended in the midst of such wonderful and impacting memories of her modeling for our entire childhood Forest Park contingent what civility among class was all about in school, playground, vacation Bible School, college breaks and later in the professional world. Dee was a quiet voice of reason who stood her ground for family and friends. We missed her when she graced our Capitol City but have reinforcements of her instructions and innovations in community and the lives of all who still travel to the intersection of Woodview Avenue and High Street or recalling her leadership in integrating upscale housing units on Spartanburg Eastside … Dee was a class actuality which is superior to a “class act”. Dee was a blessing who blessed as she was blessed. May a peace that passeth all understanding be with the Anderson-Small families.

  4. So saddened to just now hear about Dee’s passing. We worked with Dee for many years at the SC Dept of Juvenile Justice. She was a wonderful friend & coworker. We feel especially blessed to have known her. She was also an excellent cook & it was always a treat to sample her recipes. Our deepest sympathy to her family.
