  9. My Dear Vivian:

As you, your broters & other members of the James & Edmonds families prepare to celebrate your Mother”s life of longevity (97 years), may you find solace in knowing that you were a dedicated & loving daughter as you cared for her as she aged gracefully & peacefully.

She was such a pleasant & spirited lady who exuded that spirit in particular at her 80th birthday celebration as she really enjoyed herself.
I’m certain that your Mother appreciated you as you kepted her engaged and cared for her, particularly after the transition of your Father.
Your care & concern for your Mother through the years certainly fulfilled Exodus 20:12,
or the fifth commandment, as you ” honored your Mother all the days of her life”.

Mrs. Ernestine Edmonds James lived a long & fulfilled life as expressed by the French as “Joie de vivre”.

Vivian, we all witnessed the tender, loving care that you showered upon your dear Mother during her lomg journey on this side and now as her eternal journey begins, she is at peace knowing you were there for her each day, as you were indeed her jewel for life!

May the God we serve continue to bless you as your Mother is ushered to heavenly peace.
    To God be the glory!
