Thinking of the family of this grand lady , “Ms. Eugenia”, who I did not know, but I know eack of you.

May the life she lived and the impact that she had on your lives for all of her days here on God’s green earth be a source of strength to move forward with many beautiful memories of a life well lived.

To God be the glory for who she was to all of you and to whose she was as a child of the King!

  5. To Val and family, I am truly sorry for your loss. I had the opportunity to have a few conversations with your mother and from them I could tell she was loving and kind. She was a lovely lady and I am sure all of heaven rejoiced when she was able to see her father’s face. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Gigi and Mr. Herb

  21. **A Tribute to My Aunt Jean**

In the heart of summer, when the sun kissed the earth and laughter filled the air, there was a special place we all knew—Aunt Jean’s house. A sanctuary of warmth and joy, it was where many of my cherished childhood memories were formed. Every weekend spent there felt like coming home, each visit wrapped in love and affection.

Aunt Jean was not just an aunt; she was a guiding light, a nurturing soul who embraced everyone around her with open arms. As the mother of eight and grandmother to three, her capacity for love knew no bounds. Her affectionate personality drew people in like a magnet; even my clients would fondly refer to her as “Aunt Jean.” It was impossible not to be touched by her kindness, fun and generosity.

Her birthday celebrations on the 4th of July were legendary—a beautiful blend of fireworks and family gatherings that illuminated both the sky and our hearts. Those vibrant parties were filled with delicious food that only Aunt Jean could create, Uncle Johnny grilling and her cooking an art form that brought us all together around the table. Each dish carried with it not just flavor but also memories—of summers spent laughing, sharing stories, and making bonds stronger than ever.

From my very first days as a cosmetologist, Aunt Jean supported me wholeheartedly. She trusted me with her hair long before I had built up my clientele; she believed in me when I needed someone to do so most. To say she was my favorite aunt feels inadequate because she truly embodied what it meant to be family—a source of unwavering support and endless love.

As I gather my memories today and forever, I will celebrate Aunt Jean—the best cook, loving matriarch, devoted friend—and carry forward her legacy of kindness and joy in our own lives. Though she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever illuminate our hearts during every gathering we share. Thank you for being such an incredible influence in my life; you will always hold a special place in all our hearts. I love you dearly! To my family I have you all in my heart and prayers. Stay strong as she would want you to be but most of be family!!!

    Love ‘Chon

  25. To John Dixon and family: the loss of any family member is hard, but losing a mother, especially a nurturing mother, a mother who taught you to excel with excellence, class, and grace and to carry yourself with a debonair spirit- a spirit always looking to God, the author and finisher of our faith, this type of mother called Eugenia Dixon will always be missed, loved and treasured by all and the results of her love and training are displayed in her children. May God give all of you His peace.

  27. To The Family,

Please Accept My Heartfelt Condolences. Truly the loss of a precious loved one is most difficult. Please find comfort in the promise our most loving Heavenly Father Jehovah God gives us in Revelation 21:4″And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more; neither will mourning; nor outcry; nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Yes, We can look forward to a time soon to come when all suffering including death will be done away with forever.
