My heart is with you during this incredibly difficult time. Your mother, Fannie McElveen Geddis, was not only my beloved line sister, but a shining light in our lives. As the Ace of our Spring 1979 line of Kappa Beta Chapter, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. at Benedict College, she carried herself with grace, strength, and a spirit that will never be forgotten.
Please know that her legacy lives on—in you, your daughters, in the love she gave, and in the countless lives she touched. May you find comfort in the memories you shared and strength in the love that surrounds you now.
With deepest sympathy and enduring sisterly love.

I’m still in disbelief over Aunt Fannie’s passing. Her home was a safe haven for so many. I will always admire her poise and confidence. She was the epitome of class.
One summer, I spent nearly every weekend at her house playing with her daughter, my little-big cuzzo Ashlye. We ate countless of Rice Krispie treats, watched movies, laughed until we cried, and choreographed dance routines. Those moments are memories I will cherish forever.
I have so many fond memories of time spent with Aunt Fannie and the Geddis family. They always treated me as one of their own.
Love you always, Aunt Fannie 💕.
