  1. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for loving our mom and supporting us during this time. Her transition was a surprise, but we have found comfort in knowing that she touched so many people in various ways. Throw something on the grill for our girl and turn on some music…that is what she would do!

  15. I worked with Ms. Cho at Northeast and Westwood. At Westwood is where we got to really know each other as her study hall was right across from student activities! What a joy she was! So full of spirit and laughter and oh how she loved her family! I’m so glad I got to see her and take a picture with her last month at the R2 retirees luncheon. Gloria, you will be missed! Your smile and wit are unmatched. Thinking of your family at this difficult time.💗

  26. My deepest and most sincere condolences go out to the Cho family. Mrs. Gloria Cho has been like an “aunty” to me here at Westwood. She has always been a wealth of information and wisdom to me. The loss of her is deeply felt. At my lowest, she has been a source of uplifting and speaking life into others. Thank you for sharing your mother with us.

I ask for healing for the Cho family. Healing from loss and grief. She will be missed. She is loved. She has left a legacy of community, care, and stewardship.

  30. To Paige & Amber-We are saddened to hear about the passing of your BELOVED mother. Paige was a classmate & close friend of our son (Quentin) & eight other students during middle & high school. During this time, the group of friends would on occasions get together at our house to socialize. As adults now, they are still close friends & frequently get together. In fact, the group of friends got together last summer at Quentin’s house in Chicago. Therefore, thanks to Mrs. Cho for allowing Paige to be a part of this group of lifelong friends. May God provide Paige & Amber the strength to endure this difficult time. We will keep you in our thoughts & prayers. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 REST IN PEACE Mrs. Cho. Robert & Adrienne Youmans

  36. I knew Mrs. Cho at Richland Northeast High School and Westwood High School. She was an amazing person and I had such respect for her. I am broken-hearted that she has passed on to Heaven. I think God must have needed her help with some unruly angels and I have no doubt that she will get them sorted out just as she did with the school study hall. I will miss you, my dear Mrs. Cho. God bless you.

  37. Thinking of you during this difficult time. Mrs Cho had wonderful way for making students feel seen, including my two sons who truly appreciated her guidance. Beyond the classroom , I’ll always remember her warmth and fun we had at school cookouts. Seeing her light up over a plate of shrimp at the country boils or the BBQ sauce I would bring her is how I will always remember her- full of joy and life. She will be greatly missed

We talked about everything (even movies like Shaka Zulu. & Scarface lol!), we laughed, cried and prayed together. Thank you for being the tough yet loving momma we needed in our Westwood family. We’re better because of you! May God continue to bless your soul forever. I pray your family’s grief is outmatched by experience and joy of your memory. Peace and blessings in Christ’s name.
