  15. My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to the Gore and Wilson Families. Janice was always a very jovial, caring young lady. She helped break me in at Fairwold Junior High School as a young, budding first year physical education teacher. She was always a very happy going and cooperative student willing to try any and everything with a smile. I always looked forward to teaching her. It was years later having moved from Columbia and back that I encountered Janice at the Flower Station with the same old beautiful smile and attitude. I was glad so glad to see her. GOD plucked a beauty this time. She is now designing beautiful bouquets in heaven. May GOD provide you with the necessary strength to endure your bereavement. May GOD bless you!

  24. To the family of Janice Wilson Gore:

I’m sharing tender words of encouragement as I convey my sincere sympathy to Toy,, JR & other family members at a time such as this.

As you prepare to celebrate the life of a dear lady, your Mother, may your many beautiful memories continue to sustain and provide you with comfort and peace that passeth all understanding.

Janice was such a wonderful resource to me as I attempted to carry on business at the Flower Station Florist upon the transition of my sister, Miriam Kennedy. Needless to say, I had no skills in floral design, but Janice, however, so eagerly stepped in to continue the floral designs that customers were accustom to, and I have remained eternally grateful for all that she contributed during
    that period.

Her departure from this earth will leave a major void in the floral business and the beautiful designs that she was known for.
She will now take her perfected skills to a “higher level” as she glorifies heaven with both of her gifts- designing & singing to the Glory of God!

May she rest in heavenly peace.

  35. Our condolences to the Gore family. Janice was a beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit. We remember with love, growing up in Carver Heights Janice was the baby girl of the Wilson family. She was one of the first visitors who came to comfort us after our Mother passed, and designed the most elegant floral arrangement for her services. May God hold you in his hands during this difficult time.
