A tribute to our friend, and colleague the beautiful, kind, loving, compassionate, friendly, caring, generous, and classy, Mrs. Lillie Watson. She was a wonderful and gifted woman of strength, who served with dignity, grace, and integrity. Since my first encounter with Mrs. Watson 22 years ago, her attributes never wavered. To the Wilson & Watson Family may the countless memories of your dear mother, and God’s unfailing love strengthen you now and throughout the journey ahead! Mrs. Sweetie, was a kind neighbor, she definitely kept her boots on the ground for the word. If she could do something for anyone of her neighbors she would. She would ask before you could ask her. She was one of the first families in Highland Park. My prayers go out to the family. She was one of the great mothers in that blocked. May God bless each of you. She has earned her crown.

Grandma, this still seems unreal, you are already missed beyond words. To know you was most definitely to love you. Your presence, your grace and kindness and the love you gave to everyone spoke highly of who you were and what you stood for…hence, affectionately known as “Grandma Sweetie” You left us with broken hearts but we take peace in knowing you completed your time here and your life was lived abundantly…until we meet again Grandma. Gone but never forgotten. 💔

What an amazing and gifted woman. Lillie helped both of my parents and my uncle stay in their homes until the end. She was full of grace, dignity, and love. She organized everyone and was such a pleasure to work with. She was an angel long before the Lord called her home.
