  1. Much love and blessings to yall and strength and understanding 🙏🏼 from God. Lorine was an Aunt and yall were family when I was in elementary and didn’t understand how we were related because we were light-skinned. Lol but as years go by i truly love how God blessed my Mom Vermell Chavis with a sister for life and a Aunt and family that for life. Always remember the family reunion trips we went on with yall and fun times in Washington Park. Love Yall and Aunt Lorine is really where she can be a powerful Angel for God.

  17. My heart hurts as I send my heartfelt condolences to the Boykin/Stewart family. Mother Boykin has been a true Mother in the gap for me since my mother’s passing. Bridget welcomed me into their family in 1982. Since that time I’ve had the honor of being a part of their extended family.

    Mother Boykin has always showed me love, taught me to love Christ more, gave me advice as needed, nurtured and prayed for me and my family always.

    I love you Bridget. Mother Boykin has earned her wings, God will say “Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant.” Love you all.

    My God…. I remember when I meet Reverend Boykin, she had a spirit of God that poured out onto everyone she met. She was a true woman of God! She didn’t hold back words, Rev. Boykin was my mentor in the ministry… I adopted her as my mother in the ministry and she accepted the call. I loved her dearly and love talking with her. She will be missed. Take your rest mother Boykin, you have done all that God has called you to do..

Boykins was loved and neutered as a mom to us we called her “mom Boykins”. She always been encouragement and words of wisdom for our family in so many lives journey.   29. Our hearts are heavy, death has claimed another one of our BTW Class ’59’ members. We will miss Lorine from participating in our meeting and activities. We will always remember her kindness, generosity, and caring nature. Our hearts will be filled the wonderful memories joyful times with her as we “CELEBRATE ” a life well lived. She will be truly missed, and will forever be in our hearts and memories.
