  1. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Words are inadequate to describe a wonderful personality, like Mrs. Mamie S. Martin’s, or to express the thoughts and feelings experienced in her presence and now absence. 1st. Timothy 6:6 says, “Godliness with contentment is great gain.” I observed that she had something few ever have, enough! Mrs. Martin was impactful without trying to be influential. And without clamoring for anyone’s attention or being loud, she was noticed and heard. She will remember her intelligence, elegance, calm, positive energy, class, and sophistication. I and my family experienced her as a private, quiet, unassuming, lady with a dignified demeanor, yet, when engaged she was consistently kind, gracious, accepting, and accommodating yet, she had high standards and expectations for loved ones to meet. During my visit, Mrs. Martin listened attentively, patiently, empathetically, and without judgement, then encouraged me in my endeavors; and she made me feel capable, understood, and valued, at a time when it made a lasting difference. She made me think higher and go farther: My desire was to make her proud by deportment, rectitude and reaching up to my potential. #Grateful

  2. My condolences to Sherry , Mark & Debbie Martin , in loss of your beloved mother. One of the nicest , polite and classiest ladies, that I’ve known. Me and my siblings grew up on same street as The Martins, and had pleasure of visiting the Martin home many times, always a joy when we were welcomed by Mamie Martin . Prayers to the family. Honor her legacy .

  4. Today my heart is heavy as I remember and honor Mamie Martin.

Mamie was one of the kindest, gentlest souls I have ever known. She had such a loving and giving heart, and she always made me feel loved, supported, and welcomed. She always had a special place in her heart for me, and I will forever be grateful for the kindness she showed me.

She poured so much love into the lives of others, whether as a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, or a faithful friend. Her compassion, generosity, and beautiful spirit touched so many people.

I adored Mamie, and I know she adored me. I will always cherish the memories, laughter, love, and encouragement we shared. Her legacy of love will continue to live on in everyone who was blessed to know her.

My deepest prayers and heartfelt condolences to her family and all who loved her. Rest peacefully, sweet Mamie. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. 💜
