  2. To the family of Mrs Mary Williams. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother will always be remembered. Mrs Mary traveled with my dad, Rev. M. E. James to the National Baptist Convention every year until they couldn’t attend anymore. She was just so sweet and kind to everyone. May God continue to watch over you, because another child of God has been called home! Rest in peace Mrs Mary Williams. God knows your name. Carolyn James-Mccaskill

  5. I remember, at 15-years-old, attending a one-week Summer Bible School and Mary B Williams aka ‘Virgin’ was my teacher. She was also the one who counseled me before I got baptized that same summer.

And I can still remember her seeking out elders of the church, including my grandmother, each Sunday after service and asking, “Aunt Betty, how are you doing?” And Granny would answer, “fairly well with the help of the Lord.”

I will always remember her calm loving tender voice and genuinely caring spirit. Virgin had always treated everyone with the utmost kindness, courtesy, and respect.

Her warm presence will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.⚘️

  7. To the family of Mary Williams. I would like to share one of my most fonddest memories of Ms. Mary. I’ll never forget that sweet sincere way she presented me with a Bible for my highschool graduation in May 1978, I still have that Bible 48 years later. Blessings to the family on your great loss.
