I knew Mrs. Millie from Dorn VA Medical Center- a beautiful lady with a beautiful spirit. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. RIP Mrs. Moon

IT sadden me with a heavy heart hearing of Millie transition. It was her back in 1969 when I started employment at DMH she took me and trained me under her supervision when I thought this is not the job for me. Her encouraging and beautiful spirit I worked there for 25 yrs. I can’t think of a person whose heart for people and love. This today, touched my heart just to be able to express my condolences to her family. I remember her talking about Evette and Gail,to let you know your mother was well loved. REST IN PEACE MILLIE.

Having know the entire family as we’re in Schools together, we played together, skated together, went to the Park together, Church together and attended many Platter Parties in Saxon Homes. We had lots of Fun with a lot of laughs 😃. You will be missed Millie as you had that same Spirit about you all the time. Then you married a member of my Class, the late Ivory Moon. You all shared so many memories together with your love radiating between the the two of you and now you are back together. You will be missed by many people to include me.
