  2. To the Sanders and Butler Family,
May the Graise of God be with you and your entire family during your time of sorrow. Deaconess Minnie Butler was every bit of the woman identified in Proverbs 31. +She was my wife Deaconess Leticia Jones mentor as well as Deacon James Butler was my Mentor. They both will be greatly missed. Our hearts goes out to you all in your time of bereavement.

  5. Ma Butler you were a beautiful lady. Louis and I met you when we joined Bethlehem Baptist Church. You and Deacon Butler welcomed us into your home and family with loving arms. We had great times talking with you both, enjoying vacations, dinners and lunches together. I will always cherish the memories of being your presence. You always had us laughing and told us the truth whether we liked it or not. I thank you for that.

Avon, you are a special lady. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Ma Butler. You loved and cared for her until the end. She always said she loved you and didn’t know where she would be without you taking care of her. Hold onto your wonderful memories, I know you have many.

Rest on Ma Butler and give Dea. a big hug from us..
    Louis and Belinda

  6. Grandma Minnie you been in my life for half my life and I feel it still wasn’t enough. The time, the laughter cutting jokes on folks is what I will truly miss the most. I’m going to miss you asking me every time you saw me ” What you using on your skin baby”. “You know you just the prettiest I done seen in a awhile.” My response was always I want my skin to look like yours when I get older. You were there for my Nina and you were there for me. I’m glad we got to show out and laugh right before you transitioned. Going to miss you asking me to cook your turkey this year, showing up with your flowers and smell goods for your birthday and making you feel special during Christmas. Singing carols, decorating and cooking til the sun sets. You were truly loved and will forever will be missed.

  9. Aunt Minnie has always been a formidable woman! A woman of class and strength! A Spiritual woman! She instructed me earlier in life to plan for my retirement years as I started my career. I adhered to her advice and am well satisfied. She taught me how to make “Million Dollar” pies and how to always be a good hostess to house guests! She was a great Mother to Valencia (Val) and Keith; and an awesome grandmother to her grandchildren, especially after the early deaths of her children! She loved my Uncle JW, and was loving to the family. She was my “sidekick” to a lot of events after I retired and before her health failed her. All I know is that Aunt Minnie lived a full life on her own terms! You were loved by me Aunt Minnie! Rest In Pace, Auntie!

  11. Grandma words can’t express how I feel right now but my heart is heavy. You were my friend, my traveling partner and shoulder to cry on.

As you transitioned on Monday I wasn’t ready to let go but the Lord said Avon you have taken care of Minnie Louise Sanders Butler long enough and I have prepared a better place for her.

Grandma I love you and everything I have done for you and with you I would do it again.
Give granddad a hug for me.

Until we meet again love your Bonus granddaughter and caregiver.

Avon my sincere condolences to you and the Butler family at this time. Mrs. Bulter was such a jewel. As you go through these days hold on to God’s unchanging hands.

I will always remember her mint ministry and favorite scripture “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

I hear her repeatedly saying to Ole Dear “Avon’s been good to me”
