  1. Mrs. Peggy Mitchell was a former teacher of my late Father Dr. James Arthur Williams at CA Johnson High School as well as a fellow co-worker at CA Johnson High School. Mrs. Mitchell was a dear friend of my late Father and they spoke frequently on the phone. Whenever she came to Springfield, Ohio to visit her Sister we always looked forward to seeing her in Ohio. The Williams Family extends our condolences and prayers to Ernie and the Mitchell Family at this time.

  2. Mrs Mitchell was my Spanish teacher at Dreher High School. She was not only a teacher but mentor to so many of us who needed it. When her husband passed our 2nd period class took Mrs. Mitchell and her son Ernie to dinner at a restaurant at the Columbia Mall. We had a great time. I drove her there in my father’s Oldsmobile 98. She was scared all the way there and back home. I had just gotten my license. I love you Mrs Mitchell you were larger than life!

  3. Aunt Peggy’s tender spirit turned ordinary moments into sacred memories. Her love for her sisters was a quiet anchor—a lifelong bond woven with devotion, laughter, and grace. Together, they built a legacy of family that will endure beyond her parting. Ernie, may you continue to feel your mom’s love in every shared memory, and may her beautiful soul rest softly in light. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort knowing she now rests in God’s eternal peace, reunited with loved ones gone before.

  5. To the family of one of the most kind and powerful educators of my high school years, my deepest condolences. Only days ago did I think of her and wondered if she was still with us. After 40 years, I learned that she was not. I offer my prayers for the repose of her soul and the consolation of her family.
