  1. Mrs. Wilson was the type that you never forget.
She was such a light. And she taught me things that I’ve held close to my heart over the years.
She was such a sweet and precious lady.
She loved God so much. And I’m grateful that she is with him now, in perfect peace.
God bless the family during this difficult time.

  7. I met Mrs. Wilson at St. Michael’s ELC over ten years ago, when she welcomed me with open arms during my very first summer job while I was in university. From the beginning, her love for the Lord and for His children radiated so clearly. She always put others first and remained diligent and devoted to her work, even on days when she may not have been feeling her best. God bless her family, and I pray they know they will be comforted and surrounded by His peace as they mourn.

  8. My Godmother, I canโ€™t believe I am writing this. I have known you all my life, you were so supportive, so strong, and such a bright light to me and other people. I have enjoyed every second with you. Not being able to visit you and hear how happy you are with life is going to be very hard, but I have to accept that you are free from pain now. – Love Cymoria

Valerie was certainly a humble, loving and willing servant of God as she labored in the vineyard for Jesus Christ in many parts of the DOC ministry. Know that we are praying much for you during your time of bereavement. The New Galilee Christian Church (DOC) family mourn with you in your loss. Sincerely, Pastor Cobb, Officers and Members of NGCC (DOC) Holly Hill, S.C.

  12. With deepest sympathy and love, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of Valerie Wilson, the Minnis family, the Wilson family, and the Worthy families. My heart is heavy as we mourn such a beautiful soul whose presence, love, and light touched so many lives.
Thank you, Valerie, for being that friend, cousin, and sister to me. We may not have shared the same bloodline-though you were blood to my children-but the love we shared was, and always will be, long, strong, and deep, just like your love for our Father in Heaven. That bond can never be broken.
I will be waiting to hear your beautiful and mighty voice singing in the heavenly choir, lifting praises as you always did here on earth. Until then, know that you are deeply loved, dearly missed, and forever etched in our hearts.
Please know that my prayers, love, and deepest condolences are with all of you during this time of sorrow. May God’s comfort, peace, and strength surround you now and in the days ahead.

Love Tasha, Crystal, Brandon, Duke, Carter Reign and Xuri

  16. As I look at your picture, I want to cry in disbelief that you are no longer here. Yet my heart rejoices because I know you are where you want to be in the presence of the Lord. You became such a resilient, loving and kind young woman. I know Humphrey and Brenda are so proud. I will miss your messages reminding me of who you are. The truth is Val you can never be forgotten with your infectious smile and warm heart. You will be missed but never forgotten,

  18. My baby.. I remember when we first met. You were so scared going into that new journey, and I’ve loved you ever since. There are no words to express. I pray for Mr. Lonzo and your children’s peace and comfort. You are such a beautiful soul. There were days that you fed me, not knowing I only had 10 dollars to my name. You encouraged me to keep on keeping on and you didn’t judge. I wish I did better by you with keeping up with you after I left ML. But…here we are. I’ll NEVER forget you. I love you always.

  20. Valerie was a Blessing to all who knew her. She was a shining Light from God and spread His Light whereever she went. I was blessed to know her for 13 years. One of our favorite sayings was ‘Hakuna Matada.’ She will be missed but never forgotten. God Bless her family during this time and forever.
