  1. My condolences to the family of Vivian Nelson. It saddens me to hear of her passing. We shared many fun times bowling together that I have always cherished. I am glad I have those memories.
To the family, I will keep you in my prayers during this difficult time.

  3. I was saddened to hear of the passing of my Soror and friend Vivian but am glad I had the good pleasure of fellowshipping and taking a picture with her during our chapter convention. We also spent many years together serving as members of the Richland County Education Association ( RCEA) and as delegates to SCEA and NEA Conventions. She was kind, caring and a true role model of mine. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.I am lifting her family and friends in prayer

  4. I just found out that Mrs. Nelson has passed. She will truly be missed. She was a loving mother and grandmother. A vibrant member of her family. Mrs. Nelson was my next door neighbor for over 60 years! She was extremely supportive and loving to my family as well. My mother now resides in an Assisted Living Facility. This did not stop Mrs. Nelson from making periodic visits to her. She was such a sweet and gentle soul. She will never be forgotten, and will always be be in my heart.
Condolences to Herbert, Rod and family.

  5. Herbert Jr. and Rod, there are no words I can offer to lessen the pain of losing your sweet mother. I can say even though you won’t be able to see her physically, her memories will forever be imprinted in your hearts. I will miss the weekly calls your mom and I had; consolation is I know NO MORE PAIN. Your cuz, Aleloise

  10. Mrs.Nelson was like my voice of reasoning when I was feeling overwhelmed with things. We spoke often checking on each other to how each were feeling. I will miss her talks, and will never forget her encouragement and love. May a life well lived continue to live on through those who love her. RIP Mrs. Nelson, love you🙏🏾💖
