  8. My sister Tina we were brother and sister from day one…the name Davis made us family. We stared out with such big dreams as we imagined our futures. You lived a life of purpose and fulfillment..Joy and and great accomplishments. Now you’ve transitioned and it’s time to rest. I’m sure your journey hasn’t ended because love never dies and you surrounded us with such love and spirit. You will be missed but never forgotten. God has you now, but we will meet again someday in another lifetime. Love to your family and children ❤ 💕
    Your brother forever…

  10. To the family, it has taken a minute for me to compose myself to write this note. I have known Teena literally all of my life. You could say we were sandbox friends – going to the store (Tom’s or Peoples for candy. Let’s not forget the Pepsi’s – when she got down to two sodas left, she had to get another. 6-pack! (LOL) She taught me how to hand dance, play cards, tutored me in Algebra, and so much more. I will cherish and miss all of the birthday wishes she would send to me and my girls ( now 45 and 36) each year. Each one was special. While I hadn’t talked to her in a while, each conversation was like we picked up where we left off. You just had to be prepared to be on the phone for at least an hour (LOL). Praying peace and comfort for the family and to hold tight to fond memories. Much love.

  16. My deepest sympathy to the Lipscomb and Johnakin Family. My name is Veronica Peterson, the mother of Janice, Nancy and Mary Lipscomb. Tina came to Calif to stay with me for a brief stay when she was about 18 and me 22. When she moved, we hadn’t spoken for years. About 20 years ago we reconnected and remained best buds ever since. I’m crushed and heart broken of her passing. May God comfort and strengthen us all. I loved Tina and will greatly miss her.

The memories are too long from childhood to write about. To my friend and compadre rest in peace and job well done. See you soon, love you much…….. David

  20. To the family, I have such wonderful memories of growing up with the Davis family as their neighbor. Teena was bright, funny, full of laughter, good humor and was a joy to know. She was a lovely person and we kept in touch through the years. In recent years, we would share prayers and favorite Scriptures on an almost daily basis. She was a person of strong faith. May her family know we are holding them up in prayer. May her sweet soul Rest In Peace.

  23. My most deepest and heartfelt condolences to you and your family members on your loss! Tina was one of my first adult DC friends! We lived next door to each other on Longfellow St. and were new moms trying to learn the ends and outs of being a parent! Although our paths deviated the internet allowed us to maintain contact. I will forever remember my friend and I rejoice in knowing she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

  31. Sending my love and condolences to everyone. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t have met my Auntie but I’m so blessed to have the time I did have with her via phone calls and social media. She used to make me laugh and smile and that’s definitely how I will remember her.

  32. Sending my Deepest Sympathy to Tina Family. I knew something was wrong when I did not get a response from my texts. We worked together for many years at Department Of Social Services. Tina was a wonderful, smart, and cheerful person. Always willing to help others in any situation. I’m going to missed you, but you had a Higher Calling may you Rest In Peace.

  33. Our deepest sympathy to the Lipscomb and Johnakin family. We of the Pearson family were absolutely shocked to learn of the passing of our beloved Tina. Tina and Al were the best neighbors ever. We enjoyed each other, we attended the same church for many years. We moved to different sections of Columbia and we did not keep in touch as much. I would see her in publix and it was like we were still living next door again. Joe and I are truly sadden.
