  9. Sending Prayers and Codolences to the family of Mrs.Gracie Lee.Her sweet and generous spirit will forever be remembered!Because of the closeness and love of the community back then…When my mother fell on a shortage on financial matters…all she had to do is send a note to the store.Mrs.Gracie would say Arthur(which I loved the way she said his name)give Bev what’s on the list. She was so sweet…sometimes I would just go there just to talk..and of course she would say Bev get you a snickers. So in closing
..I’ll like to thank the family for sharing your mother with so many people who visit that store. So me and my family share in your lost!Much Love and Comfort!

  15. To my Grandma:

Grandma I will truly miss you, You have always been there maybe not physically, but I always knew you were only a phone call away. I sometimes think about the old days working at the store with my family, I miss those days. That good old Bologna & cheese sandwich and let’s not forget about the fried chicken. You behind the register and Granddad sitting on his Crate. It seems like a life time ago. I only wish you could have stayed a little longer, but God knows what is best and he called you home to take your rest. Please let my Aunties, Uncle and Grandad know that we miss them all so much. Love you all until we meet again.

  16. To someone whom was a part of my child hood up-bring, she will never be forgotten. She always have shown me dignity and respect during theses vulnerable days during my social skills. Everyday as I look to being at their store from grocery shopping, bust-stop on the corner, it was a treasure that will remain in my heart. I will always remember her as mother whom I admire. I will miss her. Thank God for having her as a part of my life .
