  1. My heart carries a weight I never imagined Iโ€™d have to bear so soon. My best friend, my sister by love, Ma… Izetta LaRoy gained your wings suddenly leaving behind memories that are beautiful, powerful, and everlasting.

Izetta you were more than a sister/Best friend, you were laughter on the hardest days, comfort in moments of pain, and joy so bright it filled every room you walked into. You loved deeply, gave fully, and lived boldly. To know her was to experience love, kindness, strength, and a spirit that could not be dimmed.

We shared dreams, secrets, victories, and moments that I will hold close to me for the rest of my life. I thank God for every second we were given to laugh, to talk, to simply exist side by side. Though you are no longer here with me physically, I know your presence, your love, and your voice will forever fill the spaces around me.

Rest peacefully, my beautiful best friend. Your light was never meant to fade it was meant to shine beyond this lifetime. I will speak your name, honor your memory, and carry your love with me always. R.I.P Izetta T. LaRoy
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in my heart. I Love you!

  23. I send my condolences and prayers to the LaRoy family as well as to the Brookland church family.
We, God’s children know that we must all pass this way of life in hopes of eternal life. The life we live on earth deternies our eternal destiny. I have always enjoyed Izetta’s spirt. She enjoyed ministering through song with the CBJS and Sanctuary Choir at home (Brookland Baptist Church and abroad. I’ve enjoyed serving with her in songs to the glory of God. I remembered when she was moving to Florida and we, the choir had just sung that Sunday service at Brookland. Some of us, ladies from the choir took a few pics with Izetta. When they looked at my face, I seem to have real tears… Then I showed them my eye drops bottle that I had squirt into eyes appearing to be crying uncontrollably. They all laughed and said that they had though that my tears were genuine… I will always cherish that moment! Izetta will surly be missed! As she is asleep, we, (God’s people) who have hope in Jesus, hope to see her again at the resurrection. Then be with Jehovah in paradise…
Our choir use to sing a song entitled…
“When the battle is over…we shall wear a crown…in the new Jerusalem”
And…’When we all..get together..what a day of rejoicing it will be..when we all..see Jeaus…we will sing and shout the victory (Meet Me)”.
    Take your rest Izetta.
    See you in the morning!
