  5. Deeply saddened to have learned about your Mother’s transition. I enjoyed the many telephone calls I made and and she and I would have great conversations about the pass. She loved her immediate and extended family. And would talk about the ones that passed on and how she missed them. She’s with God and friends and family reunited with them talking about the great times she had with them. I pray that God will give you Peace knowing that she left you with memories and directions to continue to sustain you in your walk throughout life.

  6. To the Counts family, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of our dear friend and your mother, grandmother Mrs Mattie Pearl Counts. She was always so very kind to all she met. She treated my mom (Mrs Rebie Harrison) like a sister, and treated us like her own children. We pray that you will be comforted by the word of God and by the sweet memories and legacy she leaves behind. She loved the Lord and it was displayed in her actions. I am so happy to have known her and be in her presence. May God bless and keep you. Love you all. – Harrison Family

  9. My heart is sad that you are no longer here with us. It was reassuring to know that you were next door for all these years keeping watch over us from the front porch. I will miss your smiles, cooking and hugs. Or back door slams. You saved me as a child and was there for me as an adult. Love you forever Nana. Until Paradise.

  24. Aunt Pearl, I have so many memories from growing up on Bon Air Drive. You drove us to Giant Food World on Friday’s in Papa’s station wagon, encouraged us to all play fair, made desserts for church functions, and served faithfully on the church’s usher board. .

Family, you all are in my prayers. I pray that God keeps & comforts you now, as well as in the days, months, & years to come. Earth has no sorrow that He cannot heal. I love you all!!

  26. My aunt Mattie Pearl brought such join and laughter to my heart every time I visited her. Ever since I was a little girl and on into my adult years, aunt Mattie Pearl shared lots of stories about the Counts family without judgement and pure love. I am truly going to miss her when I travel to South Carolina. May she be at peace and is sharing that beautiful smile and loving heart on her next journey. And to my cousins Dickie, Robert Jr, Dennis, and Doris and their children and grandchildren, may your hearts soften as the days go by and you remember such cherished moments of your mother and grandmother. Sending much love, Toni
