  7. First, my condolences and prayers to Dominique . May God give you the strength and comfort that you will need on a daily basis. This is a hard one because Wanda cared for me and my sister Lezette (deceased) every time we were at their house. There was never a time that I visited Temple of Zion and she wasn’t in the kitchen preparing dinner for the guest. She had a smile and laugh that would lighten up a room. She called my dad “Junior” because he was more of a brother than a cousin because he stayed with them for a little while. I will miss the daily inspirations that she sent to me and a lot of others. My memories of her will live forever. My cousin/aunt, take your rest!

I worked with her for many years and beyond lodge B. Even after her retirement, she still found time to send me Bible scriptures and uplifting verses everyday. 38. Dominique, May God comfort you in the earthly departure of your dedicated and loving Mother. Our heartfelt and loving condolences to you in this difficult period of your life. May your dear Mother’s legacy of love, super cooking skills, commitment, and dedication to you, help ease your pain.

“HEY MY COUSIN! And “LOVE YOU MY COUSIN!” were Cousin Wanda’s salutations to me in every conversation that she and I had. I am saddened to learn of her earthly departure, and that I will not hear those kind and loving words from her any more in this life. However, I am comforted to know that with her faith and mine as believers in Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior, we will see each other again!
