My family and aunt Mary Sayles, as you affectionately called, Ms. Mary, are grateful and will always remember your leadership and spiritual guidance during the unexpected transtition of my cousin Willam Hamp Sayles, your church member whom you laid to rest in April. 46. To the BLUME family, I’m so sorry to hear about our Pastor. Joseph and I have you all in our prayers and we just want to let you know that pastor Blume was there for us. And I want you to know that He has made his step in God Steps And in The Lord. HE took a flight on a journey that he didn’t get time to say Goodbye to the church because the journey and his flight was waiting for him to travel. And for this he’s at home now, he don’t have to worry about no stress. He don’t have to worry about no problem. For the weak shall cease from trouble & wear Shall be at rest and everyday with the Lord. It’s all right, and we just want to say to you all now as I believe he would tell you this, I didn’t have time to say. I love you and I didn’t have time to say Goodbye

but I know that now I’m at home with my father so now I believe He would say farewell and I see you when we meet again, when you cross to your heavenly home, because I’ve already crossed to the heavenly home above, we will enjoy meeting each other and have a hallelujah good time This is from Rev. In the small amount of time learning and getting to know you has been so amazing, you have shown me that everything has a much better side to it than what we see, and I thank you for that lesson and many more that you have taught me. This hurts so much that I actually thought about giving up drumming all together. I know deep in my heart that, that is not an option. So ill play to give God the Glory and in honor of you my friend…

  128. Sincere condolences and prayers for the Blume Family during this difficult time. Meeting Pastor Blume for the first time to shake his hand in Greenwood last year left me with an immediate transfer of love from one hand to the other. Yes, he truly was just the spark the Tru Voices of Laurens needed. My son, Cedric and good friends Ollie Patterson and brother Jeff Bolden, are original members of that group [Tru Voices] and my prayers are with you guys as well as you will truly miss this powerful singer, man of God, and true friend. We wish you much power as you continue in your gospel music ministry. I strongly feel that Pastor Blume would want you guys to “keep it moving for the Lord”.

  129. The TruVoices sends our Sincere Condolences to the Blume family,
We definitely wasn’t prepared for this one especially since you have only been with our group for only a couple of months. But it felt like yrs ,We truly are thankful for all of the memories & Videos that we have of you singing with the TruVoices, we prayed really hard for God to send us a strong leader ,God not only sent us a leader, he sent us a Godly man(Pastor)and a good friend, I remember the first time that Ollie mentioned you to the group he had so much excitement in his voice and after I met you and heard you sing at rehearsal I finally knew why he felt that way you was just what the group needed we all knew that you could help take our group to another level, you sung with so much anointing that Saturday at rehearsal, i knew then that you was the one that we needed, the song that you sung made me want to run around the church I had to contain myself, on that day you helped give the TruVoices hope, trust and most of all faith to stay in the race, just know that you will never be forgotten please continue to watch over us we love you but God love’s you best!!
Rest in Paradise my brother until we meet again.

  140. No one was prepared, my brother. This is incredibly sad, but I know you would want us to trust God & march on. We all have a day. I just hope & pray that when it’s my turn that I can have the outpouring of love that you have. I knew you all too briefly, but you left an impression that will last a lifetime. Get your rest for Jesus has come to carry you to Glory Land. 🎶 🎵 🎼

  150. My brother,
Words can’t describe how I’m feeling right now, but I know you would want me to carry on. Not sure who I’m going to talk to every week, laugh and joke with or go back and forth with(lol)No one could do it quite like you and the next day we back to laughing. You were a great brother, protector and one of my best friends! I will love you forever and unconditionally until we meet again
    Love Always

  151. Words can’t explain the stunning moment experienced hearing that our brother in Christ transitioned from this side to thee side of rest! My heart aches for your family as they adapt to life anew without you! At the same time, my heart rejoices knowing you had a personal relationship with Christ that cements all of our reunion in Heaven! You have now been perfected in glory! From our childhood days in youth and junior choir at BBC to our days with the The Male Chorus, inc , you had a heart for excellence in Christ! Much love to you, and love and prayers will accompany your family!

His passing brings great sadness, yet we know that to be absent from the body, he is present with the Lord. May God continue to bless, comfort, strengthen, and keep the Blume Family today and everyday – I love you all. 🤗❤️🌹

  154. Our hearts ache for you and with you due to the loss of your love one and our friend Cartrell Blume. Words cannot express the pain we feel. His smile and kind words will be forever missed. We still listen to the recording of him singing at our wedding. Oh what a beautiful voice he was blessed with. A gentle soul he is. Please accept our condolences and take comfort in knowing that those we love still live on in our memories and in our hearts. We are thinking and praying for the family.

  155. My Beloved Brother, Words are sometimes inadequate. The shock of hearing that you had departed this earthly plane is still fresh and raw. But I realize that you have fulfilled your mission on this side. There are so many great memories to recount so I will not try. But I know that the Brotherhood (and Sisterhood) will continue your legacy of joy, faith, and love. To Lisa and the Family, We Love Y’all, and God is still with You! Prayers of mercy sent for your strength! BroMan, Love You Much…So Much More I could say, I’ll leave some room and time for others…Rest Easy, Fella, We’ll see you in awhile…Peace…
