  3. To the family of Reverend George Welch Brown, Jr.,

Please know that you have our deepest sympathy and prayerful support. My mother Mrs. J.W. Gillison and I wish for you tranquility, reassurance, and encouraging love during this time of extended grief. Our thoughts reach out to your whole family at this challenging moment. We remember so fondly the Brown family from Hollywood, SC, particularly Rev Brown’s father (namely the late Pres. Elder George Brown, Sr., his queenly bride Mrs. Brown of the Beaufort District, South Carolina Conference), and the many siblings/in-laws.

May God keep you all in conforting peace as a testament of Heaven’s reward for the faithful. We send our warmest regards to you in Christ Jesus, at this difficult time.

  11. Sending love and condolences to you and the family. Pastor Brown had a deep impact on Joy and I (Dewayne); from the words that he preached, to calling to check on us. He motivated us in times of happiness and sorrow. He was a trusted mentor and a friend who was always happy to lend a listening ear and sound advice. Stay strong in the lord, love you Mrs. Brown and family; keeping y’all in our thoughts and prayers as y’all heal through this trying time.

  21. Psalm 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
    2 Corinthians 4:17-18
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
    Rest in Peace, Uncle George❤️
