  1. Why would anyone celebrate the death of an anti-Semitic subhuman. Jews should form a vacation party to all shit on his grave.

  2. I remember you Reverend Jesse Jackson, you spoke at my high school Baldwin Senior high in Long Island 1971/72. You gave a very inspirational speech, when Vietnam was the focus not the color of our skin. Our high school was not even 2% black. I never forgot it and always appreciated your attendance and speech. It impacted me for the rest of my life. You made something of yourself and inspired many people. Of all backgrounds to look at themselves and be proud of what they could be.

  3. I guess if Jesse jackson felt it was okay to refer to Jews as Hymies then it is perfectly acceptable to refer to him as a NIGGER..

  4. Rev Jackson was an anti-Semitic piece of black dung.

The Slur: During his 1984 presidential campaign, Jackson referred to New York City as “Hymietown” and Jewish people as “Hymies” in an off-the-record conversation with a Black reporter, Milton Coleman of The Washington Post.
Initial Denial: Jackson initially denied making the comments, claiming to have “no recollection,” which heightened tension with Jewish leaders and media.

Other Comments: Critics, including the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), noted a pattern of comments from that era, including suggestions that Jews had a “persecution complex” and that their influence was problematic. He was also accused of stating that Jewish advisors to Richard Nixon were more concerned with foreign affairs than American poverty

    Yasser Arafat/PLO:

In 1979, Jackson embraced Yasser Arafat, chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), which was then viewed by many American Jews as a terrorist organization committed to the destruction of Israel.
1979 UN Resignation: Jackson suggested in 1979 that American Jews were responsible for the ouster of Andrew Young, a Black US ambassador to the UN, after Young met with a PLO representative.

  10. My deepest condolences to the family of Rev. Jesse Jackson who has been taken by the scourge of Parkinson’s Disease. I pray that the NIH will double down on efforts to find the cause of this disease, which will lead to a cure.
I left my hometown of Chicago in 1971, just as Rev. Jackson was starting the Rainbow Coalition to unite Americans and save humanity. Seems that godless people hijacked both God’s rainbow and the Unity movement. I hope Rev. Jackson’s survivors are able to take back the Rainbow and reunite America with Love. Hate is destroying America and distracting us from fighting the promoters of hate. President Trump will help the Jackson family if asked.
May Jesse Jackson’s memory and goals be eternal.

  12. My deepest condolences to the family of the Late Rev/Dr Jesse Jackson. My father shot hoops with Rev. Jackson in Greensboro, NC years ago. I was around 9 years old and lived in an apartment complex in Greensboro with my parents. Oddly enough, my father, a Morehouse graduate, attended and graduated from Morehouse in 1952. The world seems much different now, but it is never too big. My mother, a Spelman graduate, happened to be teaching at A&T, at the same time Rev. Jackson was a student there.

I feel a truly strong connection to the best black men to walk the face of the earth, and who brought dignity, wisdom, and compassion to all Americans.

May Rev. Jackson rest in peace with eternal love and blessings for all who were blessed to know him.

To God Be The Glory Forever and Forever.

Several of my proudest moments as an African American was during his two presidential campaigns. Supporting him as a candidate was an honor. He not only made great contributions to our communities and created opportunities for us, he represented us well!

  80. To the Jackson Family,

It is with a heavy heart and a spirit of profound gratitude that we offer our deepest condolences on the transitioning of your patriarch, the Reverend Dr. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr.

To the world, he was a titan of justice, a “giant,” and the boldest voice for those the world preferred to keep silent. But to you, he was a father, a grandfather, and a guiding light. Thank you for sharing him with a world that so desperately needed his courage.

As private citizens who has personally felt the weight of loss—we understand that while the public mourns a leader, you are mourning the man who anchored your lives. May you find peace in knowing that Rev. Jackson’s “Keep Hope Alive” mandate lives on in every heart he touched and every door he forced open.

He defined his greatness not from the mansion down, but from the manger up. Rev. Jackson’s legacy is etched into the very soil of the American journey and the global fight for human dignity. He has finished his course; he has kept the faith.

May the “Rainbow” of his life’s work continue to shine over the family, and may God grant each of you strength in the days ahead.

With deepest sympathy and enduring hope.

  96. A Sacred Transition | From Legacy to Ancestor | Rev. Jesse Louis Jackson
On February 17, 2026, Rev. Jesse Louis Jackson Sr. transitioned from legacy leader to beloved ancestor—departing this earthly realm during a sacred convergence of holy seasons: Mardi Gras, the beginning of Lent, Lunar New Year, the centennial of Black History Month observance, and the threshold of Ramadan.
What a profound moment. What a fitting departure for a man who spent his lifetime building bridges across faiths, cultures, movements, and generations.
    He taught us that:
Democracy is a verb, not a noun – It requires our active participation
Nobody will give you power; you must organize and take it
The inside game and the outside game must work together
Electoral politics without moral vision is empty; moral vision without political power is impotent
We stand on his shoulders. We honor his sacrifice. We continue his work.

  102. My condolences to the family and friends. We are all grateful to Reverend Jesse Jackson who boldly answered his call to serve God and the people. Our brother will be missed naturally but never spiritually. In 1971 he quoted Acts 5:29 in a speech for the people he so often quoted in others. “We must obey God rather than human beings”. He became living commentary for the word because not only did he quote it but lived, talked and walked the same. Let us be imitators of his legacy.

Reverend Jessie L Jackson chose to live his life in pursuit of finding fairness, equality and equal rights for all. A servant leader and warrior. Many people will walk in and out of our lives, but only a few will leave footprints in the sands of time and in our hearts, like Jessie.

We are blessed to have had Jesse in our lives. May his family find peace and joy in the morning as they endure their loss. Lean on God’s everlasting arms.

  111. To the Family and Followers of the Reverend Jesse Louis Jackson. Sr.:

Rev. Jackson was the “Vanguard” of the Civil Rights Movement, as the contemporary of Dr. King, and later a leader in his own right!

    His long, laborious & consistent ” trilogies” of the movement;
    1) Operation Breadbasket,
    2) Operation Push & Economic Empowerment and the
    3) Rainbow Coalition served as platforms for empowerment of the “people” across the breadth and depth of this Nation.
You, Jesse Jackson, were a force to be reckoned with as your constant mantra to us, “You are Somebody” was a source of empowerment to the masses.

You were a “Man among Men” whose deeds far exceeded your reach.

    Having served the American
    public as a consequential and
transformative leader who bridged the gap between the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement & Modern, Electoral Politics.

You have now, “slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God”.

May you rest now in perfect peace and power!

Jackson, would be that ram in the bush. You reminded us that we were and are somebody. We needed to be reminded constantly of that fact. You have been a good and faithful servant. You kept the flame 🔥 of civil rights, people’s rights, and human dignity alive for all of these years. I became a president of the Black students when I attended the University of South Carolina as a student, hoping and praying that a change would come. You continued to be a there inspiring us. 126. My Sincere Condolences, to Rev. Jesse Jackson was larger than life — a living testimony of what God can do with a willing heart. Born into a world that tried to define him by poverty, prejudice, and the circumstances of being raised by a single Black mother, society attempted to label him as less than worthy, less than capable, less than equal. In an era when the color of his skin determined how the world measured his humanity, he was judged before he ever had a chance to speak.

    But God had already spoken.

What the world tried to diminish, Heaven had already destined. Reverend Jackson refused to allow racism, rejection, or ridicule to write his story. Instead, he embraced the divine calling on his life — a calling rooted in justice, compassion, and unwavering faith. When he encountered Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the fire within him found its divine alignment. He became a drum major for justice, marching boldly into the storms of inequality, carrying hope for the oppressed and a voice for the voiceless.

He dedicated his life to service — not only to his community, but to humanity across the globe. With prophetic power in his voice and conviction in his spirit, he spoke to millions. His words were not mere speeches; they were sermons of liberation, bridges of understanding, and instruments of change. That gift was Heaven-sent — ordained long before he entered this earthly realm.

Reverend Jackson, we thank you. Thank you for the sacrifices. Thank you for the courage. Thank you for standing in the gap when it was dangerous, uncomfortable, and costly. Though many of us never had the honor of meeting you personally, we have felt the warmth of your light and witnessed the strength of your faith. Your life has illuminated the skies of history and left footprints that cannot be erased.

There is a saying: “Let my works speak for me.” And indeed, your works are speaking — loudly and eternally. Though your physical presence may grow dim, your light is not extinguished. It shines on in the movements you inspired, the lives you touched, and in your children and grandchildren who carry your legacy forward.

Scripture reminds us that a good person leaves an inheritance to their children’s children — and you have done just that. You have left a legacy of faith, justice, resilience, and love.

Rest now, faithful servant. Rest from labor to reward, until the day Jesus comes back. Amen.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and reading excerpts of King’s book, STRIDE TOWARD FREEDOM at the Town Hall, I know well of Rev. Jesse Jackson, King’s protege’. I wish that I could attend and drive that far, but I will be watching live online on MONDAY. Their efforts helped ALL people, including white women from oppression. It says PBS North Carolina will be showing the Memorial Service live online. I was born in 1970, so I remember well, Rev. Jesse Jackson and he ran for POTUS twice. I was a high school student, I remember 1987-1988, that year, especially, that Rev. Jesse Jackson for the Democrat nomination. If I can get a ride there, I will go!
