  3. On behalf of Pastor Willie Davis, Jr and Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church family in the Arthurtown Community, we extend our sincere condolences to Pastor Clyde Bennett, his family and the Zion Hill Baptist Church. We know your hearts are heavy as you seek to accept the passing of Rev. Josie Bennett. She was a great inspiration to all who knew her. Many of our congregants lived in her community and remember what a loving and thoughtful person she was to all. We pray that God will give you the strength, comfort and peace that you need at this time. The Bible reminds us the book of Ecclesiastes 3 that to everything there is a season. A time to be born and a time to die. Rev. Josie lived as a godly woman on this earth and now her season has come to return to her Maker, who is God Almighty. She is now resting from her labour’s and her works do follow her. Be blessed in the Lord. Our prayer are forever with you all.

  5. Sincere condolences and prayers are extended to the entire Bennett family, friends and the Zion Hill Baptist Church family. I have fond memories of fellowshipping and worshipping with Rev. Josie prior to and during her days as a minister. She had a caring sweet spirit, lovely smile and melodious singing voice. She was a preacher of the word. To God be the glory for the work she did for his glory.

  14. On behalf of the Jefferson, Jackson and Beatty family, we send our deepest condolences to you Reverend Bennett, Linda, Gina, Nika, and the rest of the family. We were deeply saddened to hear the news, yet when we look at the angelic life of this remarkable lady; we can rejoice thank God for the outpouring of blessings she gave us in her smile and laugh and beautiful presence. God created a beautiful white rose and named her Josie and she out lasted many showers of rain and heat until God decided to do his harvest. This time, he picked Ms. Josie. Heaven belongs to you now. So let us rejoice in being a part of the garden of Jesus Christ. Let our labor not be in vain; but let work be fruitful unto the Lord.
