We would like to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of a great father, uncle, cousin, dynamic public figure and my friend since childhood, Senator John L. Scott. Often, when someone would say, John Scott, someone else would say which one. He was THE John Scott, and I was the โ€œother one”. The comparison was good as he was a good man. We were on the C A Johnson Hornets drumline together and it was amazing watching my friend soar in his career. Now, once again he is soaring, higher and higher and higher. We will miss him dearly. But truly, he is always with us every day as long as his essence, and the fond memories are in our hearts.
