Meeting you at Air Force BMT is a memory I will always cherish. You were recycled into our flight after being in medical holding due to a misdiagnosis, and from the moment you joined us, our entire flight changed for the better. You were such a beautiful light, and everyone loved you. You had a way of making people feel good just by being around you.
Watching you flourish as an element leader was so special. You were kind, genuine, and truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. Your light, your heart, and the impact you had on everyone around you will never be forgotten.
I love you deeply, and my heart hurts knowing you are gone. Your Air Force family is hurting, too. Thank you to your family for sharing such a beautiful soul with us and allowing us the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Rest peacefully, my friend. I will forever be grateful that our paths crossed in this life. Until we meet again. 💙✈️
Tamera,
Thank you for your contagious laughter, the lightness in your spirit, and the kindness in your heart that you had for everyone you met. I will never forget your love for pickles and your ability to make anyone laugh. With great sadness, I send my condolences to your family. Rest in love and peace, Tamera.
There’s so many words that I can say, but I want to say two: Thank you.
Thank you for making memories with me for over 20 years. I’ve known you for longer than I can remember. One day we were friends, and those days turned to months and years; you were family to me by the end of it.
There wasn’t a single time when I went to visit the area that I hoped I’d see you and Tyra. Every weekend was an adventure, a time to laugh and a time to tell stories whether we were stuck outside or playing around in a laundromat.
Thank you for making trips to the beach feel like summer just by memory. For making holidays and birthdays bright just by being there, being yourself and sharing the space with you. For the inside jokes we all made as pre-teens still making us crack up.
I remember your ambition, your love of, music, musicals and theater. The way you were able to express yourself and capture an audience was something special.
And that’s just a fraction of the person you were. You were resilient, kind, helpful, smart, and so, so funny. I’ve always mentioned you when people ask me about family, because you were there for so much of it.
In the blink of an eye, the talks of us growing up became reality.
I wish I could have made more memories with you the last few years. But you’ve given me, and many others, a lifetime of them already. I’ll think of you and feel that absence, but I’ll have those memories to fill in the gaps.
No need to worry about us, or anything else. You’re finally able to rest.
Dear Tamera,
I am so grateful for every moment, memory, and piece of joy we shared together. In our time together in AP biology class and Welder Wildlife Camp, girls nights at Olive Garden, out in downtown Boerne, and snap chatting daily, you were always the bright spark that made everything better. Your infectious laughter, warm heart, and completely unforgettable love for pickles will always put a smile on my face.
Thank you for being such a wonderful friend and bringing so much light into my life. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
With all my love,
Maddie
I didn’t know Tamara like you all knew her, we went to high school together had bonding classes like theatre, but we weren’t super close friends. Although we weren’t very close, I remember how bright her smile was and how it lit up a room. I remember how contagious her laugh was, and how funny she was. It pains everyone’s hearts to know that she’s gone. She was always a pleasure to be just in the same room with. May she rest in peace, and may her laughter ring in all of our hearts. Thank you for your service, both in and out of the military.
Tamera, what an honor it is to have known you. You would instantly light up any room you walked in and never failed to make me laugh. I will always remember your joy, rest is peace sweet girl. You will always be loved, thank you for your service.
Tamera I’m going to miss you so much, I’ll never forget the times when we gamed. You were such a light and your energy was so contagious. My condolences for your family. Till we meet again ❤️

Your name was called and you had to respond I know you didn’t want to go but God says it’s your time. Go be with your mother and watch over your sister while she’s here. You are a amazing person those smiles tells a whole lot with those laughter’s with your friends.

Praying for the family and sending condolences from Bruce and Tina.
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10. God is still on the throne and in charge and control. Our family will never be the same. We may not know right now what happened, but God knows. He is all knowing. He sees and hears everything. Nothing catches Him by surprise. What’s done in the dark will come to the light. In due time all things will be revealed. Even though our hearts hurt, ache, and pain, do know this, “Jesus is Lord over all things. When one of us hurt we all hurt together. As we go through this grieving process in our own way to my family, Tamera’s friends, her coworkers, and all who knew her, Christ says in his Word, “I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me though he were dead, yet shall he live, and whosoever liveth and believe that in me shall never die. Believe that though this? John 11:25-26. Come unto me, all ye that labour’s and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28-30. Rest in peace sweet child, we will see you again in the resurrection. God is love.
🤲 In God We Trust! 🤲
