  2. Mrs. Jones made sure our babies were safe at the bus stop all those years. She was like the sweet auntie everyone loved and always wanted to stop and have a few words with. She was always encouraging and positive no matter what was going on in the neighborhood. A true Shining Star and though my babies were all grown up, I didnt want her to move away but we kept in touch on fb. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

  4. My wife Andrea and I would like to extend our most heartfelt sympathy to the Jones Family during this time of tremendous loss. I got to know Annie and her family through my brother-in-law and sister Charles and Thomasenia Benson. She was my sister Thomasenia’s best friend and was like a member of our family. She was always there during both times of celebration and sadness. I have always found her to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. She possessed a quick wit and a tremendous sense of humor. Annie was the model of consistency as evidenced in her lasting friendships, her compassion for others and her walk with God. I’m going to miss our fishing trips and the pearls of wisdom you shared as we stood on the dock. ” Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:13

  5. Jones family, sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one Ann. I met Ann when my sister Donna moved to the Summer Valley neighborhood. Ann was a kind , caring, Godly woman. I enjoyed talking with her occasionally. I am lifting you in prayer during this time of bereavement.

  6. To Tasha, Mike, and Jason, DaRon and I send our love, prayers, and condolences on the passing of Sis. Jones. Our hearts are broken. We are forever grateful for her kindness and hospitality as she opened up her home to us and countless others every Sabbath and holidays whether she knew them or not. She loved her children, family, students, friends, and church family with her all. She did not hold back in her service to the church and community. Still today she made the best pound cake and cornbread and was such a great cook. We will miss her humour. Above all her greatest desire was to make it heaven, and see all of us there. We pray to do the same and to see her in the resurrection. Thank you for sharing your mom with us. May the God of all comfort, comfort you as He has promised.

  10. To Tasha, Mike & Jason please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May Ann rest in peace and your family be comforted by cherished memories during this trying time. The memory of Ann will continue to live on through the legacy she leaves in the Summer Valley neighborhood. Ann and I were neighbors for 20th plus years on Summer Vale Dr, I named her the BUS 🚌 STOP mom. She looked out for all the neighborhood children, allowing them to come into her home 🏠 if the weather was inclement, a drink of water or moms were late picking them up at the bus stop. A true neighbor, friend, and servant of God. With heartfelt sympathy, Donna King.

You were my inspiration, you will truly be missed at our water classes at the Y. You were always the 1st person at the pool, and I always looked for your hat when I came in each morning. Our classes aren’t the same without you.

  25. To the Family of Mrs. Anne Jones you have my deepest sympathy. She inspired me with her passion to care for the less fortunate and poor amongst us. I enjoyed working with her when possible as she put her heart and soul into her ministry. Likewise, she shared her devotion to Ephesus SDA Church and her faith in God frequently, without hesitation. What a legacy she has built with the life and opportunity God gave her. Love you to pieces and will never ever forget you. ♥️

  26. Dear Tasha, Mike and Jason,

You are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I know that her finest accomplishment in life was having three wonderful children. She was most proud of you kids.

We met when we joined the JCC in 2007. We were best friends from day one. I will always miss her. I loved her dearly and I know that she felt the same about me.

I wish that I could ease your pain but only time can help do that for you. I know you all real well because she and I discussed our kids with one another a lot.

I will see you soon. Love , Jean
