  1. To the family, I send my deepest condolences. I will never be able to say how thankful I am that Miss Jones entered my life.
I moved to the community 10 years ago and she came down to welcome me and to let me know where she lived. My family and I will carry her in our heart, she was like the block mother, she made sure all kids were safe getting on and off the bus, my grandson included. I asked what would be her charges for looking after him for us, she replied no charge just drop off, socks, tshirts, hygiene supplies, whenever you can. I would be driving by and she would stop me to let me know about meals or summer programs for the kids. I love Miss Jones and when she moved to be with family I felt a peace of my heart left with her. A phenomenal woman who worked hard to take care of others. I promised I would keep up with donating time and whatever else I could. Summer Vale haven’t been the same since you left but every time I climb my ladder you sent to me or I ride by your house and see the little green welcome sign I smile to myself and say Hey Miss Jones! Rest sweety. Job well done! ❤️🙏🏽🕊️

  3. With heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Sis Jones. Sis Jones was so loving, kind, and caring. I will always remember her love for my mother, Eloise S Boyd. After the passing of my mother we remained friends and communicated by phone and social media. We loved aquatic aerobics and she enjoyed the Wellness Center. Sis Jones had a green thumb like no other. Her vegetable garden and flowers were Beautiful. She was there for the community as well. Feeding the homeless and less fortunate people. Sis Jones was truly a Godly person. I will Always Love You, Sis Jones. R.I.P. Sis Jones. You are now A Beautiful Flower in 💐 the most precious garden of all. 🤗❤️🌹

  9. Mrs. Jones made sure our babies were safe at the bus stop all those years. She was like the sweet auntie everyone loved and always wanted to stop and have a few words with. She was always encouraging and positive no matter what was going on in the neighborhood. A true Shining Star and though my babies were all grown up, I didnt want her to move away but we kept in touch on fb. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

  11. My wife Andrea and I would like to extend our most heartfelt sympathy to the Jones Family during this time of tremendous loss. I got to know Annie and her family through my brother-in-law and sister Charles and Thomasenia Benson. She was my sister Thomasenia’s best friend and was like a member of our family. She was always there during both times of celebration and sadness. I have always found her to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. She possessed a quick wit and a tremendous sense of humor. Annie was the model of consistency as evidenced in her lasting friendships, her compassion for others and her walk with God. I’m going to miss our fishing trips and the pearls of wisdom you shared as we stood on the dock. ” Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Psalm 116:13

  13. To Tasha, Mike, and Jason, DaRon and I send our love, prayers, and condolences on the passing of Sis. Jones. Our hearts are broken. We are forever grateful for her kindness and hospitality as she opened up her home to us and countless others every Sabbath and holidays whether she knew them or not. She loved her children, family, students, friends, and church family with her all. She did not hold back in her service to the church and community. Still today she made the best pound cake and cornbread and was such a great cook. We will miss her humour. Above all her greatest desire was to make it heaven, and see all of us there. We pray to do the same and to see her in the resurrection. Thank you for sharing your mom with us. May the God of all comfort, comfort you as He has promised.

  17. To Tasha, Mike & Jason please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May Ann rest in peace and your family be comforted by cherished memories during this trying time. The memory of Ann will continue to live on through the legacy she leaves in the Summer Valley neighborhood. Ann and I were neighbors for 20th plus years on Summer Vale Dr, I named her the BUS 🚌 STOP mom. She looked out for all the neighborhood children, allowing them to come into her home 🏠 if the weather was inclement, a drink of water or moms were late picking them up at the bus stop. A true neighbor, friend, and servant of God. With heartfelt sympathy, Donna King.

  32. To the Family of Mrs. Anne Jones you have my deepest sympathy. She inspired me with her passion to care for the less fortunate and poor amongst us. I enjoyed working with her when possible as she put her heart and soul into her ministry. Likewise, she shared her devotion to Ephesus SDA Church and her faith in God frequently, without hesitation. What a legacy she has built with the life and opportunity God gave her. Love you to pieces and will never ever forget you. ♥️

  33. Dear Tasha, Mike and Jason,

You are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I know that her finest accomplishment in life was having three wonderful children. She was most proud of you kids.

We met when we joined the JCC in 2007. We were best friends from day one. I will always miss her. I loved her dearly and I know that she felt the same about me.

I wish that I could ease your pain but only time can help do that for you. I know you all real well because she and I discussed our kids with one another a lot.

I will see you soon. Love , Jean
