  1. To: Pam and your family:

Because of the tender mercy of our God,
by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven
79 to shine on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

  2. Sorry, we could not physically be present. We watched and were there in spirit. Our heart aches at the loss of our dear aunt. Fannie, Joanne’s sister, is at a loss for words during this time. We celebrate the life of a remarkable woman. I am glad we were able to finally meet her and get to know her though not have enough time to know her more. We were grateful to watch her homecoming service. Thank you so much!

  18. Sincere condolences are extended to the family of my friend ( we were like cousins) and schoolmate Joann. We grew up in the Waverly Community and attended Waverly Elementary School and Booker T Washington High School. Throughout the years, Joann maintained a close relationship with my mom Mary Dantzler who is 99 years old. Though she was experiencing her own health challenges , she took the time to call and check on mom. Thanks Stephanie for the many times you would bring her to visit mom. To God be the glory for you and the rest of the family for the love and care you gave to Joann. She was a beautiful lady with a loving spirit. Cousin Debra, I lift a special prayer for you during this time. Know that I am only a phone call or text away.

  20. To The Family Of Ms. Joann Footman:
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing. | Ecclesiastes 3:1-22
